How to Switch Between Organizations

If you belong to multiple PocketOS organizations (e.g., you manage two garages, or you're a team member at one organization and an admin at another), you can switch between them without logging out. How to Switch 1. Look at the top navigation bar 2. Click the organization name or organization switcher dropdown 3. Select the organization you want to switch to 4. The dashboard refreshes with the selected organization's data What Changes When You Switch - Everything — Rentals, vehicles, contacts, memberships, settings, and reports all change to the selected organization's data - Your role may differ — You might be an admin at one organization and a regular member at another - Settings are separate — Each organization has its own settings, pricing, agreements, and configurations Common Scenarios - Multiple locations — You manage garages in different cities, each as a separate organization - Consulting — You help manage someone else's rental operation - Personal + business — You have your own vehicles and also manage a client's fleet Frequently Asked Questions Is there a limit on organizations I can belong to? No. You can be a member of as many organizations as needed. Can I see data from multiple organizations at once? No. You view one organization at a time and switch between them. Each organization's data is completely separate.

The Onboarding Checklist

When you first create your PocketOS account, the onboarding checklist guides you through essential setup steps. Complete each item to get your organization fully operational. Typical Checklist Items 1. Complete your profile — Add your name, photo, and contact info 2. Set up your garage — Name your organization and set your showroom handle 3. Add your first vehicle — Enter a VIN or manually add vehicle details 4. Upload vehicle photos — Add photos for your vehicle listings 5. Set rental pricing — Configure daily, weekly, and monthly rates 6. Create an agreement template — Set up your rental agreement for e-signatures 7. Configure settings — Set up tax rates, porter rates, and other preferences 8. Connect Stripe — Link your Stripe account for payment processing 9.
